Four Seasons $18MM website
Here’s what I think went down: $8MM for build, $5MM for photography, $5MM for design. No comprimes on a release plan… all languages, all countries, all devices, everything all at once.
Or they design and built the whole thing 4 times before Four Seasons approved it.
Only question, what did Huge burn to pitch a $18MM project… jebus.
Random Thought #1 – I don’t want to be that guy
Aside
I’m really confused why people think that putting a big picture of yourself on the homepage of your portfolio is a good idea. Unless you are trying to be a model, your work should be what sell.
Stamps of Disapproval
This set of 12 stamps (of disapproval) made me laugh. They are a brainchild of recent RISD MFA grad Heather K. Phillips. Buy them here.

<3<3 Les enfants sennuient le dimanche
Has the feel of a Wes Anderson film, this short for Oliver Peoples’ 2010 campaign is perfect. What a way to promote the new line, plus its doesn’t hurt to get some gorgeous people show off those hipster frames.
Oliver Peoples’ 2010 Campaign film ‘Les enfants sennuient le dimanche (The children are bored on Sundays), directed by Autumn De Wilde, featuring Elijah Wood and Shirley Manson (from Garbage). Soundtrack ‘Just You and Me’ by Zee Avi.
LiveView for iPhone

This app had me at hello.
Its a super simple and amazing for iPhone design and prototyping. Get the LiveView iPhone app, get the LiveView Screencaster for Mac. Open Screencaster and drag the iPhone frame over something on your desktop. Open LiveView on your iPhone and see exactly what’s in the Screencaster frame. It also recognizes screen taps as mouse click so its perfect for clickable prototypes.
I just tested it out and already discovered I need to make changes to my design. Fricken lovely. I highly recommend it. Download it for free now!
